Boy Dies From Injuries In Car Versus Train Accident

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The 6-year-old boy involved in the car-versus-train accident two Fridays ago in Greene County passed away from his injuries Thursday night.

6-year-old Christopher Logan Perez Stevenson died at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis after being airlifted there Friday the 15th.

That Friday, the sport utility vehicle Stevenson was in crossed a set of railroad tracks on CR400 North in Greene County near Vicksburg when a train came through the crossing striking the passenger side rear quarterpanel of the vehicle.

25-year-old Seath Stevenson, the driver, 22-year-old Erica Harmon and 18-month-old Lucas Stevenson, their son, were all treated and released at Greene County Hospital.

State police say they are still investigating the incident.
