(FRANKFURT) - Lawrence County’s very own Anah Hewetson took top honors in the Indiana Junior Miss competition over the weekend.
Hewetson started off the competition taking top honors in the fitness competition netting her a $500 scholarship.
However, after that, Hewetson was named a finalist in the overall Junior Miss competition and, finally, the winner.
Hewetson gave up swimming for Bedford North Lawrence in the state finals, which were the same night, to participate in the competition, and what a choice well made.
Hewetson walks away from the contest with the ceremonial tiara, a couple smaller prizes plus a $7,000 scholarship on top of the scholarship she won becoming Junior Miss Lawrence County.
