(BLOOMINGTON) - A circuit court judge sentenced a woman to three years in prison Friday because she took money from couples looking to adopt babies.
Diana Groves was arrested back in April 2007 by the FBI.
She had told seven different people she was working with a pregnant teen who was putting her newborn up for adoption. Groves would then take money from hopeful couples - claiming it was for the teen's expenses.
