(BEDFORD) - it was a wild night in the WBIW listening area last night as an Orange County man's crime spree stretched from Paoli to Bedford, but not back again.

According to reports and log entries from the Orange and Lawrence County sheriffs, Paoli police and Bedford police, the night started off around 10:00 last night when a man who works at Paoli Peaks called 911 reporting his orange Honda Civic missing.

Not long after that, an alarm went off at the Williams Brothers Pharmacy in Paoli after an orange Honda Civic rammed the building, the alarm scaring the suspect off.

Shortly after 11:00pm, Mitchell police got a call of an orange Civic that pumped $20 worth of gas and took off without paying.

Then, finally, Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News they got a call of an attempted robbery and bomb threat at the CVS Pharmacy on 16th Street, and the suspects took off in, you guessed it, an orange Honda.

Police made contact with the vehicle and attempted to stop it, at which point it tried to evade officers by turning its lights off and going down dark roads. Officers eventually got the car to stop, and 2 men took off running out of it. The officer pursued the driver, 30-year-old James Cory Collins of Paoli, and captured him.

The passenger, however, remains at large.

Collins faces a preliminary charge of breaking and entering and auto theft in Paoli, and theft in Mitchell.

In Bedford, he faces false reporting of a bomb threat, attempted robbery, possession of a stolen vehicle, driving while suspended, resisting arrest by fleeing on foot and by vehicle, driving without headlights and with an open container of alcohol.

Collins is currently lodged in Lawrence County jail.
