Suspended Driver Injures Two In Head-On Collision

(BIRDSEYE) - Two people are injured, one seriously, after a head-on collision in Birdseye yesterday afternoon that involved a suspended driver.

State Police Jasper say 34-year-old Percy Langill was traveling eastbound on 1st Street in Birdseye when he collided head-on with 48-year-old Aaron Sketo of Bristow.

The investigation revealed Langill, whose license was suspended at the time, was driving left of the centerline when he ran his pickup in to Sketo's truck.

Langill received only minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene. Sketo's passenger, 56-year-old Victoria Reed of Bristow was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital where she was treated and released.

However, Sketo was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Louisville with serious injuries, however is currently listed in stable condition.

Langill was cited for driving while suspended.
