Newly Elected Officials Learn Ropes Of New Jobs

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Association of Cities and Towns held a training program for the local elected government officials that were recently sworn in and are completely new at their jobs, including Orleans Town Councilman Mike Fields and Clerk-Treasurer Robert Henderson.

Fields and Henderson attended the training last week which is not only aimed at orienting new officials to their new jobs, but also to refresh and offer new information to old government veterans.

Officials from not only Orleans, but also Paoli, Mitchell, French Lick and Bedford attended the training program keynoted by State Supreme Court Justice Randall Shepard.
