(BLOOMINGTON) - Around $45,000 in musical instruments were stolen from the Indiana University Simon Music Hall in the middle of December, and now IU police think they have a lead on the perpetrator.

According to an information release, IU police detectives found several of the instruments pawned at a Bloomington pawn shop, and with the help of the store owners, discovered they were sold by an IU custodian, 30-year-old Sean Ray of Bloomington.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ray on a felony count of theft, however, officers have not been able to locate him.

Sean Ray is described as a white male, just shy of 6-feet tall and 170 pounds, brown shoulder-length hair, medium build with a goatee and mustache.

So far, officers have recovered 4 piccolos, 4 flutes, 2 oboes and an English horn from the pawn shop.

If you see Sean Ray, police ask you call them at (812) 855-4111.
