(BEDFORD) - Congressman Steve Buyer, State Representative Eric Koch and a number of community leaders announced details for the 2008 Hoosier Job Fair this morning at the Fairgrounds Expo Hall.
The fair will be March 3, 2008 at a time that is still being worked out. Some people were concerned the originally announced time of 9:00-3:00 would not allow first shift workers at Visteon to attend.
The main reason buyer and company are holding the fair here in Bedford is mostly because of the shut down of the Visteon plant.
IUE-CWA Union Local President Phyllis Gassaway was there to not only help make sure plant workers could attend, but that plant workers do attend.
