(BLOOMINGTON) - We now know what federal authorities were investigating when they raided the home of a Bloomington doctor.
Doctor Kamal Tiwari was under investigation for double billing and providing medically unnecessary services.
A note attached to the search warrant for his house and clinics also said at least four of his patients had died recently while under his care. Two of those deaths were linked to overdoses on meds prescribed by Tiwari.
Agents also interviewed patients and former staffers. The raid happened December 18th.
