(BEDFORD) - Congressman Steve Buyer and State Representative Eric Koch are announcing a job fair here at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds this morning.
In the wake of Visteon closing shop this summer, Buyer and Koch say they want to help those workers, as well as anyone else looking to find a job, get the employment they need.
The 2 legislators are announcing the event this morning at 11:00am at the Expo Hall at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds in conjunction with the Bedford and Bloomington WorkOne offices, Bedford Chamber of Commerce, and the Lawrence County Fairgrounds.
Buyer has helped host job fairs in the past, in 2005 and 2006, but they were both in Bloomington.
