(BLOOMINGTON) - Autopsy results have determined 59-year-old Laura Lewis died of gunshot wounds.

State Police Bloomington were called Thursday afternoon to "The Pointe" subdivision, a gated community near Lake Monroe, to the condo of 59-year-old Laura M. Lewis.

Monroe County Coroner David Toumey pronounced Lewis dead shortly after 5:00pm Thursday night.

Another man, identified as 68-year-old Ronald R. Lewis was transported to Bloomington Hospital.

State troopers are proceeding with a homicide investigation to determine exactly what happened.

The couple had been wanted for I.D. deception. According to Clark Superior Court documents, the two were accused of taking credit cards in the name of Laura's ex-husband and had outstanding balances totaling more than $8,000 dollars.
