(BEDFORD) - A semi rear ended a single-axle flatbed truck on northbound State Road 37 just past Old 37, sending one of the steel pipes from the flatbed through the semi’s grille.
State police Bloomington responded to the call late yesterday morning and had the semi ready to tow shortly after arrival.
Troopers had the right lane of northbound SR-37 at Old 37 partially blocked during clean up.
The backup from the incident also caused a second, smaller accident. The second accident involved a car rear-ending a pickup, about a quarter mile south of the first accident which blocked the left lane of SR-37.
No injuries were reported in either accident.
