(BEDFORD) - An update on a pedestrian hit and run story first reported by WBIW News.

On Wednesday, October 10th, 25-year-old Kevin Taylor was crossing O Street between 17th and 18th Streets when he was struck by a Honda Civic traveling southbound.

According to the initial report, Taylor stated the driver of the car got out, yelled at him and then drove away. Thursday evening, according to the updated report, the driver of the car, 16-year-old Shantel Brock, came in to the Bedford police department to report her involvement in the accident.

Brock says Taylor walked into her passenger side mirror as she was driving. Brock says she stopped to ask Taylor if he was okay, the pedestrian said he was, but refused to give her any information. Brock then said she went home and informed her mother of the incident.

As of yet, no citations have been issued.
