(COLUMBUS) - A Bartholomew County man will spend a year in jail and 20 more years on probation after being convicted of horse neglect.
Sixty-two year old Terry Baxter is also not allowed to own any animals.
Baxter also has to pay 26-thousand dollars in restitution to an animal rescue group. They've cared for Baxter's horses since they were taken from the property.
