(CRANE) - A new technology facility for defense contractor EG&G will officially open today at the Westgate at Crane Technology Park.
The building is the first of several that are planned for the park in Southern Indiana.
EG&G is a major contractor to the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center, which is located next to the park.
EG&G says it will initially employ 50 workers, but the company expects to add more jobs soon.
Indiana Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman will join executives from EG&G and the technology park, as well as economic development officials from the region, for the dedication.
