(BEDFORD) - 2 are injured after a “T-bone” accident in Bedford yesterday afternoon.
Shortly after 3:00PM, 81-year-old Robert Henry of Bedford was stopped at a stop sign on northbound R St. at the intersection of John Williams Blvd. Thinking the coast was clear, Henry reportedly entered the intersection and struck the passenger side of 24-year-old Michael Gordon of Abbeville, GA.
Gordon's vehicle spun and struck a wall while Henry's vehicle continued through the intersection and stopped on the opposite side of R St. According to the police report, Henry complained of chest pain afterward and Gordon reported pain in his head.
Though Bedford police indicate Henry was at fault, no citations were issued.
