State Police To Nail Drunk Drivers Statewide

Last updated on Tuesday, August 21, 2007

(UNDATED) - The Indiana State Police will clamp down on drunk drivers for the next couple weeks.

The State Police, in association with other local police agencies, will be working extra hard in targeting impaired drivers starting August 24th and ending no earlier than September 9th.

Also, State Police in the Sellersburg district will be patrolling for drivers who violate the "move-over law." Vehicles who fail to pull to the right when approached by an emergency vehicle with lights and sirens on will be ticketed as well.
