MS Bike Ride In Bloomington Saturday

Last updated on Thursday, August 9, 2007

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana State Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will be holding a bike ride this Saturday that will encompass the Bloomington and Williams areas.

MS Assistant Director of Development Melissa Pence says the route starts at the Southside Christian Church in Bloomington and runs south on old State Road 37. The trail runs through Harrodsburg, Springville, Fayetteville and to the covered bridge at Williams.

There will be several rest stops along the way and bikers will head back on the same route to the Southside Christian Church. Total mileage is about 70 miles.

Pence say they are hoping to raise $100,000 with this event. She says registration is still available and costs $35. There is a minimum $100 donation to help reach their goal.
