Last updated on Wednesday, August 1, 2007

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman told police she was going to Bloomington Hospital to be treated for pelvic pain after she slid alongside a block wall in a motorcycle accident.

Bedford police say Amanda Nicole Lynch was a passenger on a motorcycle, driven by 26-year-old Brandon Stiles, also of Bedford. The accident occurred as the motorcycle slid alongside a block wall on "N" Street near Walnut Street.

Stiles told police that Lynch caused him to lose control of the motorcycle and it hit the wall.

Bedford Regional Medical Center Ambulance personnel were called to assist at the scene where they treated Lynch's injuries. Stiles refused treatment from ambulance personnel.

Damage to the bike was between $2,500 and $5,000.
