(NASHVILLE) - Brown County residents could soon be paying more for their water.
Under a tentative agreement between state regulators and the Brown County water utility, rates would go up 44 percent.
If the deal gets final approval, customers would see half of the increase this fall and half next summer.
Nashville municipal customers would also see rate increases, with this deal.
