(BEDFORD) - Fire fighters from the Bedford Fire Department were called to a house fire at 1801 - 14th Street on Sunday night.

Fire Chief Scott Gillespie says the fire started in the utility room of the home and spread to the ceiling. Fire fighters checked the attic area for any continued spreading.

Damage to the home, which is owned by Bill Rodman, was contained in the utility room.

Gillespie says the cause of the fire was listed as undetermined, however, he says there may be an investigation into the origin of the fire.
