Fashion Review/Queen Contest Kick Starts 4-H Fair

(BEDFORD) - Activities at the Lawrence County 4-H Fair continue to increase with the fair set to amp up next week.

Tonight the Public Fashion Review will be held at the Schaffer auditorium at 16th and "O" Streets in Bedford. Several categories of design, dress and sewing will be featured at the free event.

On Friday, twelve girls will vie for the honor of 2007 Lawrence County 4-H Fair Queen. The contest will be held in the Expo Hall at the Fairgrounds beginning at 7:00PM.

The girls spent four days of boot camp and practice to prepare for the evening's event.

Tickets for the contest are $2 for adults and $1 for school age children.

During the contest the return of the Little Miss Contest will be featured.
