(BEDFORD) - Police charged a Bedford teen for residential entry and illegal consumption after she forced her way into an elderly woman’s home.
The elderly lady called police saying the teen was hiding in the basement of her 12th and "O" Street residence.
Using the services of the Lawrence County Probation Department, police attempted to take the teenager back to her mother. She became belligerent and refused to leave.
The girl was eventually taken to the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Center in Brownstown.
