(CRANE) - An award was presented at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. to employees at the Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center.
They were recognized for their roles on the SeaPort-e Program Management and Government Teams.
Ms. Mary Sturgis, of Elnora, and Mr. Rick McGarvey, of Bloomington, were recognized during ceremonies, plus given a tour of the facility. The team developed and improved practices that maximize the SeaPort-e competitions.
It is estimated that the improve program will save the U.S. Navy nearly $134-million dollars annually.
