(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman and her grandson were slightly injured in an auto accident on James Avenue near the KFC restaurant.
Bedford police say 53-year-old Rita Lewis and her grandson, 5-year-old Dawson Lewis complained of head and neck pain after they were hit from behind in their automobile.
24-year-old Heidi Atchisson, also of Bedford, hit Lewis' vehicle. Atchisson told police that she was not paying attention at the time of the accident.
Police blame Atchisson for the crash.
