(BEDFORD) - Bedford Urban Enterprise Association Director Jamie Harris has announced that he will be relinquishing his position for a brief military tour.
Harris will taking a Capitan's Career course at Fort Lee, Virginia.
Harris says he will be gone for at least 8 weeks during his training.
He notes that Fort Lee has local connections. Harris says the Fort is commonly referred to as the "Indiana military academy."
Harris is with the 138th Regiment at Camp Atterbury, Indiana.
