Age Discrimination Case Dismissed

Last updated on Monday, June 4, 2007

(BLOOMINGTON) - The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity commission has dismissed an age discrimination complaint against the Monroe County Auditor’s office.

Larry Cassady was 61-years-old when he claims he was fired from his job because of his age. He claims he was let go because of his "slow" work.

The Auditor would not comment on the case.

It is unclear if Cassady will pursue the case any further.
