(BEDFORD) - Hoosier voters will be heading to polls today to choose their favorite candidates.
Most races around the state include mayors, city clerks and city council members.
Primary Election day sets candidates for both the Republican and Democrat sides.
In Bedford and Mitchell, races for mayor and city clerk/treasurer are the highlights.
In November, a final vote will determine who will fill each seat for the next four years.
Polls opened at 6:00AM and will remain open until 6:00PM.
As your civic duty, please be sure to take time to vote today.
