(BEDFORD) - The White River Humane Society is expanding.
The group is working at opening a satellite office on the downtown square at the corner of 15th and "J" Streets. Executive Director Melissa Kurstin says the building needs to be animal friendly.
She says it will take a few weeks before they open. Melissa says they want the building to look more homey.
Operating hours for the downtown White River Lodge building will be announced at a later date.
