(MITCHELL) - Mitchell resident Mike Gunderson has asked to Mitchell City Council to remove no parking signs on Dean Street where he lives.
Gunderson told the board that another neighbor has been complaining of his recreation vehicle parked in his front yard with a for sale sign on it. She wants it moved, but Gunderson says he has nowhere else to park it.
Others in the meeting said it was difficult to have family and friends to come over and find parking nearby where they live. He gave the board a petition signed with other Dean Street residents wanting the signs to come down.
After a bit of discussion, the board decided to honor Gunderson's request with the stipulation that the street department examine the area and approve the appeal.
