(MITCHELL) - An Orleans teen was cited for leaving the scene of an accident after hitting a vehicle on State Road 37 near Gun Club Road.
Lawrence County Police report that 18-year-old Alyssa Christian hit the rear of 46-year-old George Johnson, of Paoli, who was stopped waiting for a car to turn onto Gun Club Road. Christian then went around Johnson's vehicle and left the scene. No one was injured in the accident.
A few hours later Christian called police saying her auto had been stolen. When police questioned Christian, it was learned she was responsible for the accident. Christian was cited for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
