(BEDFORD) - If all goes Lawrence County taxpayers will be able to pay their property tax bills online.
Lawrence County Treasurer Debbie Thompson says credit card transactions will be possible once the web site is up and running. She says it's at a standstill right now while tax forms are being processed. Thompson says the forms will be mailed out soon and the web site will be available after that.
If a taxpayer does not have internet access, an 800 number will be available to use as a second alternative. Thompson says if anyone has any questions about their tax bills to contact her at the Lawrence County Courthouse at 275-2431.
