(FRENCH LICK) - The Indiana General Assembly has ended the Historic Hotels Preservation Commission in French Lick.
As part of the state budget bill a new commission will be formed. Representative Jerry Denbo says the new commission will draw more county money, but opponents were upset with the move.
The HHPC will hold the final meeting on June 26th. The new commission will begin on July 1st.
