(BEDFORD) - Bedford City Utility workers will be flushing fire hydrants starting today.
They will start at 16th and "S" Streets, including the Bex Addition, Edgewood Addition, Cambridge Square and Clover Park Apartments.
Bedford City Utilities customers are cautioned to be careful on or about these days as the water can be muddy or rusty and can stain laundry. If the water becomes discolored, let the cold faucets run for a short period of time and it should clear up.
Each day fire hydrants will be flushed around the Bedford area. If the weather turns inclement, the flushes will be canceled.
