(BEDFORD) - Sunshine is to blame for an accident on Hwy. 37 and 16th Street in Bedford.
According to the accident report 24-year-old Nicole Gilstrap, of Bedford, was attempted to cross the highway from 16th Street when 53-year-old Linda Wininger, of Orleans, was attempting to turn onto the highway when she ran into Gilstrap's vehicle.
Both suffered arm pain following the accident. Both told police they had the green light, but Wininger said she failed to see Gilstrap's auto because of the glaring sunshine. Police cited Gilstrap for failure to yield right of way.
