Bedford, Mitchell To Hold Mayoral Debates

(UNDATED) - Two mayoral debates will be held this week; one in Bedford the other in Mitchell.

The Bedford Chamber of Commerce will be holding the Bedford mayoral debate on Tuesday, April 17th at the Bedford Downtown Convention Center starting at 6:30PM.

Democratic candidates Alan Craig and Tony VanPelt, along with Republicans incumbent Joe Klumpp, Jean Williams, Jack Butterfield, Sam Shaw and Jonathon Srygler have been invited to the Bedford event.

The second mayoral debate will be held on Thursday, April 19th. The Greater Mitchell Chamber of Commerce will be holding it at the Mitchell High School auditorium at 6:30PM.

Republican candidates include Billy Carlisle, Barry Duncan and Dan Terrell. Democratic candidates are incumbent Butch Chastain, James Brown and Jason Delaney.

Everyone is invited to both debates.
