Police Officer Arrested For Drug Dealing

(SELLERSBURG) - A Clarksville police officer has been arrested for dealing drugs.

Undercover troopers, uniform troopers and several officers from other agencies spent a month investigating. Over a number of weeks, officers purchased morphine pills from 34-year-old Franklin Mikel of Sellersburg.

Mikel was taken into custody without incident and incarcerated in the Clark County jail. A handgun was seized during the bust.
