Community Foundation Meeting To Be Held In April

(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Community Foundation is announcing its 2007 unrestricted grant cycle.

Non-profit organizations recognized by the IRS as having 501(c) status, educational institutions and government entities are invited to apply for a grant.

More than $40,000 dollars is available for grants to charitable programs and projects that serve Lawrence County.

An informational meeting and luncheon for grant seekers will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd. It will be held at Noon at the Lawrence County Community Foundation office at 1016 15th Street in Bedford.

Organizations that plan to submit a grant application should have a representative in attendance at this meeting. Please RSVP for the luncheon to 279-2215 by Thursday, March 29th.

Grant applications will be available after the meeting.
