Indoor Marijuana Operation Discovered By State Troopers

(LOOGOOTEE) - Two Loogootee residents were arrested on illegal drug activity after police discovered an indoor growing operation.

Indiana State Troopers served warrant at the home of Bryan Lee Burris and his girlfriend Sarah Holland, both 28-years-old.

668 marijuana plants were found in the Loogootee home with about a pound and a half of processed marijuana in small baggies.

Two children in the home were taken by police and handed over to the Daviess County Child Protective Services. A third child was staying with relatives.

Burris and Holland were taken to the Daviess County Jail and are being held without bond. Both are facing numerous drug charges including possession of marijuana, dealing in marijuana and methamphetamine and neglect of dependents.
