Bedford Public Library Offering Income Tax Assistance

(BEDFORD) - With the tax filing deadline looming in the near future many taxpayers are working at filing their income tax forms.

The Bedford Public Library is offering VITA, or Volunteer Income Tax Assistance for those who earned $39,000 or less.

The free service will be available on Saturday, March 24th from 9:00AM to 12:00PM with area volunteers offering their tax services for free.

Those interested in taking advantage of the volunteer service must call the library for an appointment and for further information on what tax information to bring with them. Call the Bedford Public Library at 275-4471.
