(BEDFORD) - Funerals for the father and daughter killed in a plane crash in Bedford one week ago were conducted on Friday. However, the services were held 500 miles apart.
8-year-old Emily Johnson was laid to rest on Friday in a private ceremony in Bedford. Her father, 47-year-old Eric Johnson was buried in his hometown of Grand Rapids, Iowa.
Investigators continue their investigation of the crash. Initial reports say the two died when Eric Johnson deliberately crashed the plane in his ex-mother-in-law's home.
A final report on the crash could be released sometime this week.
