Vince Lombardi Trophy Makes A Stop In Bedford

Last updated on Monday, March 5, 2007

(BEDFORD) - Several hundred people were lined up around the Bedford Middle School on Saturday afternoon to get a glimpse of the Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Trophy.

Bedford Middle School was one of the 50 stops for the trophy. Colts Owner, Jim Irsay, says the Tiffany-made $25,000 Vince Lombardi Trophy belongs to the fans.

Jim Knox and his son K.C. traveled nearly 10 hours to get a chance to see the trophy in Bedford. Jim says he's been a fan of the Colts since they played in Baltimore.

Matt Gonzo with Colts promotions says they attract about 2,000 spectators wherever they go.

The trophy will head to Seymour and Columbus on Tuesday.
