(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Noon Lions Club held a mini-debate with four of the seven mayoral candidates Wednesday afternoon.
Held at S&L Catering on the Bedford square, four of the seven candidates were there to speak to those in attendance. Republican candidates Jack Butterfield and Sam Shaw, along with Republican incumbent Joe Klumpp and Democrat Al Craig were given questions concerning unemployment, what would be the most important issues for the mayor and assisting the homeless.
All four were given several minutes each to explain their opinions on how they would better serve the public if chosen as mayor of Bedford.
Jean Williams, Johnathan Srygler and Tony VanPelt were unable to make the meeting.
