Three Arrested After Theft At Bedford J.C. Penney Store

(BEDFORD) - Bedford police were called to the J.C. Penney store after several individuals were spotted by employees stealing merchandise.

Police found 44-year-old Connie Bixenman, of Williams, 28-year-old Carmen Vincent, of Bloomington, and 36-year-old Keri Smith, of Mitchell allegedly taking off with about $250 worth of merchandise. Vincent was found trying to remove sales tags from merchandise and hide them from authorities.

All three were taken to the Lawrence County Security Center.
