(MITCHELL) - A new business will be heading to Mitchell.
Mitchell Industries will be setting up shop in the building that previously housed C & M Conveyor. Mitchell Industries will produce industrial wire strands such as wiring to hold up electric poles and radio antennas.
Randy Nahvi, from Bloomington, originally from Iraq, is bringing in equipment to manufacture the products. Nahvi says if all goes well the business will be up and running by March. Nahvi has three employees helping him get started. Nahvi hopes to initially add three more workers and as business increases to bring the number to 30 employees.
Products from Mitchell Industries will be sold to businesses mostly on the east coast from Maine to Florida.
