Orleans Man Arrested On Drug Charges

(ORLEANS) - The combined efforts of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police, Orleans Police, French Lick Police and Paoli Police resulted in the arrest of a rural Orleans man on a charge of dealing in methamphetamine.

Officers from the five departments obtained and executed search warrants for two Orleans residences, and as a result of the investigation, 43-year-old James Earl Hamilton was arrested and charged with a B felony count of dealing in methamphetamine and is currently incarcerated in the Orange County jail.

According to the officers involved in the case, the investigation continues and additional arrests are possible.
