(CRANE) - Word has been received that more than $5-million dollars has been invested to build the West Gate and Crane Technology Park in Martin County.
West Gate and Crane Development Company, LLC, an investment of Throgmartin-Henke Land Partners will oversee the construction.
Plans call for additional office space, commercial and technology buildings. A retail development, new hotel and conference center will be a part of the Crane project.
Purdue University is also committing resources to help with the commercialization of the area. National experts say the new park could add as many as 3,000 new jobs.
