New Albany Woman Suffers In Accident Near Bedford

(BEDFORD) - An accident on State Road 450 and Stumphole Bridge injured a New Albany woman with minor bleeding.

According to the police report, 69-year-old Phyllis Thacker ran off the side of the road. She overcorrected and lost control of her auto sliding into an earth embankment. The vehicle then flipped coming to rest on its top.

Thacker was treated at the scene for lacerations to her hand.
