Hospitals Consider Ways To Handle Pandemic Flu Outbreak

(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Pandemic Preparedness Coordinating Committee met Thursday to further discuss details of a possible pandemic flu outbreak.

Representatives from both Dunn Memorial Hospital and Bedford Regional Medical Center were there offering ideas on how to centralize distribution points within the county.

A call for volunteers was issued. If you would like to offer your services, contact Lawrence County Health Department Director Vanessa Findley.
