(BEDFORD) - Bedford police detectives continue to investigate a house fire that occurred two weeks earlier on April 30th.
After fire fighters were able to quickly douse the blaze, 61-year-old Mary Jean Endris was found dead in the "G" Street residence. The fire was started on a mattress in the bedroom of the home.
Further investigation found that Endris died as a result of homicide. Police continue to search for any information on the incident. Bedford detectives are asking that anyone who had contact with Mary Jean Endris during the week prior to her death to contact the Bedford Police Department Detective Division.
